The Department for Education (DfE) recently published revised statistical neighbour groups for children's services. We have updated LG Inform to include them.

To see them in action, they work particularly well with our Themed reports for children and young people. Simply select a report, type 'Child' into the comparison box and select Children’s services near neighbours.

Infoshare+, the providers of the CIPFA near neighbours by local authority,  have updated the statistical neighbours for each local authority. We have updated LG Inform to include this latest release.

If your default comparison group is CIPFA near neighbours by local authority, your existing reports will automatically show any changes related to your area, when next accessed.

If you don’t currently use this group and wish to see whether it is a good alternative, type 'cipfa' into the comparison box and select CIPFA near neighbours by local authority.

Should you wish to change your default group, you can change it in LG Inform Preferences (while signed in to LG Inform).
