Case Studies: Age UK, Haringey and Coventry

Last year, Age UK joined Versus Arthritis as another national charity that has benefited from using our data service and visualisations to support their strategic goals. Metric examples added include: all persons aged 65 and over or 85 and over.

In January, we highlighted that our data tool enables subscribers to place live metrics into the heart of their websites or business intelligence and, during the year, we highlighted some great examples of where it is being put to good use.

In August, we reported on how Haringey council’s Policy Team has taken data from our application programming interface (API) to test correlations between local demographic factors such as age and deprivation to COVID-19 deaths by MSOA (medium level super output area).

In September, we highlighted Coventry City councils work applying the API. Allowing them to view and download from the metrics available, it enables them to manipulate their local and comparative performance data for benchmarking purposes and display on their website. You can read the case study for more details.

There are various ways to use our data tool to set up direct links to metric value feeds which you can plug into bespoke reporting tools, such as Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI and Tableau. For more details, join one of our excellent webinars next year.
