The Local Government Association announced today (17th February 2017) details about a new local investment programme in collaboration with NHS Digital.

Councils are invited to bid for one-off funding of up to £50,000 for projects (to be delivered during 2017/18) that seek to use information and technology to improve adult social care outcomes and deliver financial savings. The investment funding will be allocated following a competitive expression of interest process. It is anticipated that approximately fifteen local authorities will be supported.
